Ciao! My name is Veronica and "discovering" is MY word! Thanks to my studies in languages I started to travel the world when I was very young and I could build my acknowledge about other cultures abroad. I love to meet people and get to know other countries with their different traditions in art, food, (and wines!) and stories. I live near the sea, in a small town halfway from La Spezia and Livorno, in the town of Puccini, Torre del Lago. My husband is from La Spezia, so I can say I feel a little bit in the middle of two wonderful regions, full of so many simple and great traditions. I am very passionate about nature and animals too, and we live with our horse and three cats. I am an environmental and hiking guide and I will be very pleased to share my knowledge about the territory with you! There is so much to learn to understand a culture and nature is the key, with its vegetation, wildlife and its geological history. My aim is to lead you in hidden treasures of Tuscany and Liguria and their timeless classical highlights, always keeping an eye on the environment. The best thing that we can do when we travel is trying to feel like a local and diving in their everyday life; I will help you to experience it, beeing not only a tourist but becoming a traveller. We first visit the Miracle Square of Pisa with its outstanding Tower, Cathedral and Baptistry. We admire the authentic countryside, visiting a tiny typical cellar that produces Prosecco, Rosé and white wines located in a beautiful hilly garden overlooking the lake: the view is gorgeous! We enjoy a wine tasting with tuscan specialties (bruschetta, olives, salami..) Then we visit the roman ruins and a very interisting Roman bath complexe with traces of an Imperial Villa: amazing lake view! Lunch in a traditional restaurant located in Camaiore,where we taste the best Fettuccine Alfredo, trust me! After lunch we visit Pietrasanta, lovely medieval town with artistic tradition and marble, workshops, monuments, fashionable boutiques! Visit of the outstanding Cathedral and free time for shopping or a creamy gelato.

- I will meet you outside the Port - Drive to Pisa (30 minutes) and visit of the Miracle Square with the Leaning Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistry - Tuscan wine tasting with stunning lake view enjoying a glass of Rose or Prosecco wine - Visit of the Roman ruins (Thermae and Villa) - Visit of Pietrasanta to admire its marble monuments and elegant shops - In summer we stop in a wonderful sunflower field for your pictures - typical tuscan lunch (not only Fettuccine Alfredo but many others delicious pasta, meat dishes.)
