Most of the visitors to Tuscany do not know that Vespas are produced here! The company is in Pontedera, right between Florence and Pisa. This tour is a fantastic opportunity to ride a Vespa scooter and explore the beautiful hilly countryside of the Pisan Chianti just around Pontedera, an area famous for its excellent wine & food producers and for Andrea Bocelli's open air arena "Teatro del Silenzio". A memorable day full of fun, delicious food and spectacular views! NOTE: THIS TOUR IS DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO RIDE A SCOOTER. NOT FOR FIRST-TIMERS This tour is planned with 1 scooter for each 2 pax. Moto rider traveller must show up with driving license, be 18 years or older and have some experience riding scooters. To not fulfil these requirements makes this tour fail. Contact me for advices if needed by clicking 'Ask a Question'.

The meeting point is at the railways station of Pontedera, which can be easily reached by car from all over Tuscany. Parking in town is easy. Alternatively, train is a great option, through the Pisa-Florence railway line (45 minutes from Florence, 15 minutes from Pisa - this option is cheap and trains run frequently). Finally, I can arrange a private transfer to our meeting point on luxury airconditioned vans for up to 8 passengers. My driver can pick you up anywhere in Tuscany.
