Hi there and thanks for checking out my bio! While I was raised in California, my family has had a unique connection with Roatan since before I was born. My great uncle was one of the first 'gringos' to settle on Roatan in the 1950's and our family has been coming here ever since. I moved down here permanently a few years ago and opened up a business in West End. I was the first to bring the popular sport of standup paddleboarding to Roatan and began offering a variety of tours around the island by water and land. I love Roatan, its natural beauty, its people and the rich island culture. In the short time you are here I can provide you with a tour that spans the island from east to west and gives you a real glimpse of island life! I hope you will join me for an incredible island experience! Recreation Administration Major with a minor in Business and an emphasis in Natural Resources. Early Childhood Educator and a Montessori Preschool owner and director in Lake Tahoe, California.

This tour gives you a little taste of the best Roatan has to offer: culture, white sandy beaches, and stunning coral reefs. Before we hit the beach we will pass through several island communities where we will have time to shop, learn some of the island culture and history, and meet some local people. After that we will head to West Bay beach, voted one of the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world. From here we will head to the quaint beach side community of West End where we will have a few hours to snorkel, sunbathe and paddleboard in the calm clear waters of Half Moon Bay. The snorkeling here is some of the best on the island with the coral reef just a few hundred meters from shore.

Never having been to Honduras before, we were open to Steve's suggestions and so happy we were! It was a big day for ships in Roatan, and the crowds were all behind us. We made it to the Mayak Chocolate factory first and were able to enjoy our experience there. Our main request for the day was to avoid crowds and snorkel on the reef. As an experienced water guide, we were safely shown how to snorkel (we were green). At the end, only 2 of us actually made it out to the reef with him. Steve was patient and so helpful and I know that day will live in my memory forever as one of the best days and greatest accomplishments for this 72-year-old Granny! My granddaughter and I got to live out one of our dreams. Thank you, Steve, for the stories and knowledge of your beautiful home. I highly recommend Steve as not just a great guide but a great human.
He was so cool and great! He took us to a cool beach and bar and did exactly what we wanted. Showed us the island. Book him!
Steve is THE tour guide on the island of Roatan. He knows just about everyone on the island and knows everything about the island. Congenial, thoughtful and has a great sense of humor. I will definitely contact Steve when I return to Roatan!!!
Steve is a really nice guy. He showed us all around the island, and he navigated the traffic well. I would recommend him to everyone.
Steve is an excellent guide! When my husband couldn't join us at the last minute, Steve changed our planned tour to make me comfortable on the tour alone & did a fabulous job. I feel like I saw so much of the west side of the island & enjoyed hearing about all the good things going on. Wish we had gotten to snorkel, the water & the beaches are simply amazing. With his guidance & suggestions, we are hoping to come back to visit longer someday. Highly recommend touring with Steve. He's great!
