Hi I am Galatia, welcome to Chios! I am an eco-guide. And a tour Leader I was born and grew up in Chios island till my family moved to USA when I was 8 years old, for a few years. When I was in USA I was always thinking about Chios and talking about the beauty of my island. I am a friendly, willing, smiling, patient person specially with kids. I love guiding, history, monuments, nature, flora, and herbs. I practice hiking, swimming, dancing and hand made art. As an open person I like to meet and associate with other people. It's a beautiful, rich, historical, interesting island with medieval villages, byzantine churches, old stone villas, orchard, with a breath taken nature, unique flora, trees and goods, and a scent of mastic in the air. It is ideal for walking around the scenic back alleys, hiking in its nature and swimming at its vast pebbly or sandy beaches, small bays and deep blue sea.
