Jvari Monastery, overlooking Mtskheta - the former capital of Georgia, is a very early architectural wonder. The hill it is located on offers a spectacular view of an ancient town situated at the confluence of two beautiful rivers. The tour continuous with a visit to the religious capital of Christian Georgia - Mtskheta. They call it the second Jerusalem as Christ's robe is berried beneath the foundation of Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Visit a medieval castle complex situated in a beautiful valley overlooking Zhinvali reservoir. There you hear a legend about love and ultimate betrayal. In Kazbegi you will visit a church situated on a top of the mountain and learn about the crazy marathon and the Christ's cradle. You will get around in a comfortable Mercedes-Benz Viano (2010 make). The car has 7 passenger seats and is very specious. It's air-conditioned and is very clean. NOTE: We might have to take a very short (3km) four wheel drive depending on the condition of the road.
