Dear travelers, Welcome to my profile. I'll try not to be so boring and introduce myself to you in a brief and understandable manner. I am a private guide/driver and I've been doing this since 2010. My guiding skills were sharpened throughout my past life. I was raised by those people who always enjoyed discussions about the history of Georgia and local traditions. This was a good push for me to entirely dive in this subject matter and gain much more knowledge about history of Georgia. Besides, I loved hiking in the mountains, especially during the long term visit to my grandparents' places, which lived in different highland regions of Georgia. As a teenager I joined traditional Folk dancing (became a first class national dancer) company and I was given a chance to interact with multiple national representatives during our performances abroad. In the 2005 I officially became a Military interpreter (After security clearance interview) for the peace keeping operation programs (NATO) and gained some land navigation and first aid skills. Even nowadays, I take a part in a short term training programs, which serves for me as reiteration of my past knowledge. Since 2010 I began the leading business which became my main work now. This work gives me the chance to use mine, already well aggravated skills in benefit of travelers in my country. Dear travelers, I would never address to you as clients, you'll be my guests and I promise that - In my tours you'll get more pleasure and satisfaction, than you expected! If the purpose of your visit to Georgia is - acquaintance with the History and traditions, and also day time hiking in the Caucasus, then you really need my assistance… Principles of Service: - "Safety and security above all!" - "Proper use of traveling time" - "Always have a back up plan" - "Travelers stays flexible during their trips and can reasonably change an itinerary at any time" 1. I also, work as a military interpreter for NATO forces. 2. I am member of the local guides union. 2. I was filmed in a documentary movie. 3. I as hired as a mountain filming adviser (for a TV project) for one the leading TV company in Georgia. There is Dress code in Georgian Orthodox churches and Monasteries. ladies need dress and scarfs to cover the body, and men should wear long trousers you should not enter there during the pray or service. I can provide dress and scarfs for the ladies...

Svaneti is a historic province in Georgia, in the northwestern part of the country. It is inhabited by the Svans, a geographic subgroup of the Georgians. The region is Surrounded by 3, 000-5, 000 meter peaks, Svaneti is the highest inhabited area in the Caucasus. Four of the 10 highest peaks of the Caucasus are located in the region. The highest mountain in Georgia, Mount Shkhara at 5, 201 meters (17, 059 feet), is located in the province. Prominent peaks include Tetnuldi (4, 974m. /16, 319ft. ), Shota Rustaveli (4, 960m. /16, 273ft. ), Mt. Ushba (4, 710m. /15, 453ft. ), Ailama (4, 525m. /14, 842ft. ), as well as Lalveri, Latsga and others. The most exiting thing is to visit ancient tower villages dispersed in between high up mountains, and number of churches. On the way to Mestia, we'll also visit different interesting places such as: Old capital of georgia-Mtskheta town, Stalin's home town, Dadiani palace in Zugdidi city and Enguri reservoir. I know many interesting trails and stories about the region.

Koba is a outstanding guide.. his knowledge of and passion for his country is remarkable. Koba kept us enthralled with his descriptive stories of the historical sites we visited. He is obviously very well known throughout the country everyone seemed to know him personally. Nothing was too much trouble. We did the 7 day tour and loved the high Caucasian mountain villages and views. I would highly recommend his tours even after we in Tbilisi he checked up on us.
Koba was very responsive, communicative, and really accommodated very well changes needed for the tour due to an accident at home prior to the trip. Thanks Koba, we really enjoyed it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week with Koba, it was a highlight of our time in Georgia. He was very personable, and was very happy to try to accommodate any requests we had. Koba has an in-depth knowledge of Georgian heritage and history, and was also a very capable wilderness guide. We felt like we were in excellent hands the entire time - his vehicle was well maintained and he had a good knowledge of the road. We were constantly impressed with Koba's boundless energy and enthusiasm.
Koba is a brilliant guide. We had an amazing time and saw so much, despite only having a week in Georgia. He managed to pack in loads of stuff, but without ever making us feel rushed. All the food and accommodation was great and our trip wouldn't have been anywhere near as good without him. Even the long drives were fun in his company and he was a good driver on Svaneti's mountain roads. Koba is also a great hiking guide. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to visit Georgia.
