Every single story is unique and mine is not an exception either. It starts in Poland, when I as a tourist was trying hard to catch every detail of the new country, so at the first sight a standard trip with amazing tour guides, who helped to explore the new places, turned into a beginning of something new for me. It was couple years ago, but that feeling of excitement that comes with turning unknown places into very familiar spots, had never left me. I returned home and started to think of becoming a tour guide myself. Despite having a stable job, I could not help but constantly think of becoming a storyteller (yes, I just said story teller, instead of a tour guide). One does not just guide people through the historic sites in Georgia, here history is measured not in centuries but millenniums and every stone has a story to tell. So, Hello there, My name is Mari Tinashvili and I am a certified tour guide (a story teller as I would prefer to be called). I majored in Culturology and got BA in Arts and Humanities. I have been working as a tour guide since 2015. Hence I spent last 3 years communicating with some amazing people and rediscovering my country. The job takes a lot of skills, including some comprehensive knowledge in history, art and architecture and not to forget being an expert in dinning and night life is a huge part of it. Being born and raised in Tbilisi, I know where all its beauty is hidden. Basically one can find all the gems in details. Have you ever thought how one curve on a balcony decoration can turn a house into a piece of art? Well, that is quite possible if you are walking around the old town in my city. So, why would not you follow me on an adventure in an unknown but sometimes painfully familiar country of contrast and unique history? I will help you to turn unknown places if not into your home, at least into a location you would be willing to return at least once again. Overview of your Tbilisi tour

Georgia - combination of uniqueness and diversity. History of successes and failures of people, nations and civilizations . This is why I crated and love this tour . If you could go in a time machine, what era in history would you like to visit? Maybe Pagan times? Maybe new era of Christianity? Maybe in 6th or in 11th century? I will try to show you different periods of Georgias culture and history. We will visit two Unesco world heritage Sites in Georgia Jvari monastery and Svetitskoveli cathedral. Which was main cathedral of Georgia for centuries. Old capital Mtsketa with its beautiful red roof houses . Mtsketa is located very close to Tbilisi, so in summer it's Tbilisians favorite place to have a nice evening dinners, weddings and birthday celebrations in Mtsketa. And my favorite stop -ancient pagan city - Uflistikhe . Which still has many tales to tell you.

Mari is probably one of the most knowledgable and relatable local guides in Georgia. We enjoyed our day with her, she drove her own car and gave us insights all along the way non-stop. It was like having your own friend showing you about her own country, which in our case became exactly that as we consider Mari a new friend we would like to host in our countries in the future.

We very much enjoyed our time with Mariami. She was attentive to our particular horticultural interests. We learned a lot about the history, flora and the culture of Georgia. A big PLUS is that she is a non smoker - which is not easy to find in this part of the world!

FANTASTIC TOUR GUIDE! Mariami is an amazing tour guide who catered an our tour perfectly for a group of 4 adults. We loved learning about the history of wine making in Qvereri clay pots as well as the monasteries and cave town we visited. Mariami's knowledge of wine making and Georgian history was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend her as a tour guide to anyone.

A wonderful well informed lady. Very attentive to your questions. Understand the context between art, social and economic enviroment and the impact of this on society. Loved the long conversations. It is truely a delight to spend time with a high IQ and EQ person. She is extremely highly recommended.
