On this tour, we will explore a wide range of fascinating sights. During the walking part we will wander through the Old Town and see surviving Gothic Town Hall, and merchants' houses, the 15th century pharmacy, noblement palaces, beautiful churches, and, of course, the city wall & towers. You will learn who lived in the Upper Town and in the Lower Town and whether these neighbors got along. Who had to pay a fee to enter the town, who the Blackheads were, what medicine was believed to cure a broken heart, and what the proverb "Town air makes one free" meant in medieval times... Stop for medieval drinks tasting (one of them you will be given as a gift for tasting later) Then we'll continue by car discovering sites built during the Soviet era and in last decades. We'll see Tallinn City Hall, the Olympic Yachting Centre, the Memorial to the Victims of Communism, Kadriorg Palace and Park, Maarjamäe Soviet Memorial, Song Festival Grounds and many other places.
