Lahemaa National Park occupies a large area in the northern part of Estonia. It is located near Tallinn and features beautiful Baltic Sea coastlines, pine forests, nobleman’s manors, and late Bronze Age burial sites. At our first stop, you will see unique Bronze Age barrows and learn more about life during the Bronze Age. Next, we’ll visit the impressive Baroque-style Palmse Manor — a historic estate where Count von der Palen was raised. He played a significant role in Russian history by leading the conspiracy against Emperor Paul I. The manor offers an overview of the estate’s history and the lifestyle of the nobility. Its beautifully landscaped park is also well worth exploring. After Palmse, we’ll stop in Võsu village, known among locals for its spectacular seashore and glacial erratic boulders. Finally, we can enjoy lunch at a 19th-century tavern featuring a menu of local dishes. A trip to Lahemaa National Park offers a day full of rich and varied experiences. Welcome!
