Dear traveller, let me introduce myself. My name is Kadi and I am very happy that you are planning on visiting Estonia. Who am I? My name is Kadi. I am an Estonian and I have been living in Tallinn since 2008 already. Originally I am from a small town of 8, 000 people located in the middle of Estonia. Yes indeed, I can call myself a small town girl. Thus, I also know what life is like outside Tallinn and how different it is from Tallinn. What makes my tours special? I have been a tour guide since 2016. Meeting people from different countries and sharing stories with them is my greatest passion. I will take you to places that mean a lot to me. I think that when you consider something special for yourself then it is easier to talk about it and share it. I always make sure that my tourists can ask questions and receive honest answers. In addition, I am very flexible so when there is something that you really want to see, we will make it happen. I give restaurant, cafe, shop, etc. recommendations. I only recommend places that I like. Why did I become a tour guide? I think that everybody should do what makes them happy and makes them feel good about themselves. As a tour guide I am proud to have the opportunity to teach about my country and people. Although giving tours can be sometimes tiring I truly enjoy my work. Fun facts about me I love languages, cooking and gardening. I have a degree (professional higher education) in accounting and a master's degree in translation. Through my interest and passion for guiding I met my husband who is also a tour guide. I have been told I look like Elsa from Frozen. I am certified to hold tours in the following locations: - Niguliste Church - Estonian Maritime Museum - Fat Margaret Tower - Estonian Maritime Museum - Seaplane Harbour - Tallinn TV Tower - Estonian Open Air Museum. Please note that I do not hold tours only in Tallinn but can offer tours in other locations as well. I cannot hold tours in museums where I do not have a certification (please see my Credentials). However, there are museums which do not require any certification.

Let's go on a special 2-hour tour focusing on the history and traditions of Estonian Christmas both present and past! Estonian Christmas traditions have changed notably over the centuries with Christian traditions mixing with old pagan ones. Tallinn - a city long home to many different peoples and different versions of Christianity - has always had a very colorful approach to this holiday. Thus, this tour is made to untangle this complicated web and make things clearer in a fun and relaxed manner. Join me on this tour of Christmassy food smells, lively market, welcoming people and beautiful Christmas decorations. As is tradition during Christmas there will be a surprise waiting for us. And if we are lucky, there will be some snow.
We are going to meet at a previously agreed location and during the tour we are going to visit the following locations: - Town Hall Square - Viru Street - St. Nicholas' Church - Harju Street - Maiasmokk (Sweet Tooth) Cafe - St. Catherine's Passage - Vene Street - Town Hall Pharmacy NB! This tour includes entry to a local venue to sample a local Christmas beverage (includes alcohol). Please inform me if you wish to have something non-alcoholic. * This tour can be customized upon request, feel free to message me.
