TRAVELLING BRINGS ABOUT FAR GREATER BENEFIT THAN MORE BOOK LEARNING. Hello I am Mr Raffles; it is my great pleasure and honour to be your local expert. I always believe apart from must-go spots, visiting some non-touristy areas will enrich the journey of visitors, especially when you discover the other side of Hong Kong, you will find that here is a unique city in different aspects. Hong Kong .... The always ongoing sounds of trams, construction works and the unique smells on the streets; beach in Sai Kung; the amazing people; the food; the safety and the ease of getting around; and the regular concerts by the HK Philharmonic. Although the city has changed quite a bit in recent years, Hong Kongese relentless drive and unstoppable “can-do” spirit to make things happen: the Hong Kong spirit, also known as the Lion Rock spirit. The geological history of Hong Kong has been strongly controlled by changes in the plate tectonic setting over the past 400 million years and has been active for the living of people for at least few hundred years! Luckily, the evidence of the above history still exists in today's Hong Kong and it does take you a few days to stay here! I can show you one by one if you have an interest in them. But before knowing comprehensively about Hong Kong, how could it be done without our basic need - food? In Hong Kong, you don't have to go to chain stores anymore as you may do in your hometown. If you want, I can show you the real and authentic delicious food here! I am a free-spirit person. Three things I can never give up: love, justice and dignity. I never stop chasing awesomeness. Creativity is in my blood as I always see possibilities, both good and bad ones. I value connections among people, vulnerability and honesty. In my leisure time I love swimming and travelling (e. g. Singapore, Penang, Phuket and Taipei) My other professional achievements and activities - Member of Communitybusiness.org - Member of Lionclubs.org - Member of BNI.hk - Editor of Hong Kong Magazine (2010 - 2015) - Speaker of Rotarty Hong Kong - CPR and AED trained by Red Cross Hong Kong Do not do, - Historical lectures - Sights and sounds of places that wiki can do better than me (i.e. Former Kowloon Walled City, Wong Tai Sin Temple, Statue Square, Murray House, Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree, you get the drift)
