Your Hong kong tour itinerary

We first set off in exploring Hong Kong island, visiting some of the major attractions such as Victoria Peak, Aberdeen fishing village, Stanley market and basically driving around the island, understanding most of the higher end living in Hong Kong. Then, we will head towards a general local suburb closer to the real-life in Hong Kong, strolling through a local fresh market, getting to know the local culinary culture. We will head straight towards the New Territories to check out the countryside of Hong Kong, open spaces and much greenery. I will show you the developments of New Territories, housing, histories, the closer tiers with cross-border activities in Shenzhen and most particularly some of the great points for pictures at various locations of the New Territories. We will finish off with a drive up to the top of Kowloon Peak for you to have a last glance of the city from the other side of the Victoria Peak, overlooking the whole city. A great overall tour to really understand Hong Kong.

The concept of my tour is to show how us locals live and commute here, what our everyday lives are like to experience the location. We will be commuting by the Toyota Alphard, a local model of a vehicle at the level of comfort that will blow you away. As by "toursbylocals" culture, everyone has a story to tell and you will never go wrong hanging out with a local.

Food and drinks, entrance tickets, rides etc. If you are in Hong Kong for 3 days or more, I would recommend you to get a local "Octopus" card which is a top-up card with cash credit inside to pay for most transports, vending machines, convenient stores, Starbucks, and many more chain stores. It cost HK$150 and it has got HK$100 credit and $50 as a deposit which you can get back once you return the card. This card will save you a lot of time and hassle with carrying a lot of coins. We can get one together if you are not sure.
