Let me show you around Hong Kong! Asia's world city! Would you like to hop around town like a local? Get a taste of different cuisines, dine at places where tourists don't know how to get to? Come to join me and I will show you this exciting city. A great introduction of Hong Kong on your first morning, getting your bearings right. Will also assist you in planning ahead on whats best for your remaining time in Hong Kong, giving you directions and suggestions. The tours I provide will be my recommendations, however, the actual tour will be custom designed to your preference. Your Hong kong tour itinerary

Sightseeings and food. Departing from your hotel, will first head up to the Victoria Peak where I usually start my tours. Along the way, I will explain the local history of the city, how this city began as a fishing village, its developments since 1842 to get into this mega city in Asia, one of the most important hubs in the world. The history continues by walking you through the colonial historic centre, displaying how the British had built the city in the very beginning eras. I will also show you a local suburb of Wan Chai, showcasing how locals live, their lifestyle, their food including some food tastings of popular must-haves, culture, temples and religions. Not to miss out is the Aberdeen fishing village and we will definitely not missing out a ride on the iconic Star Ferry and a glimpse of the Kowloon area. A very comprehensive introduction of the city within half a day. Time slots between 8 am and 2 pm. Led by myself with over 380 happy private tour guests seeing Hong Kong. See you in Hong Kong!

My tours are walking tours, we do travel on public transport between some locations which it will be for sure more fun than sitting in a standard coach tour and it is all part of the authentic Hong Kong experience. If vehicles are required, I can drive at an extra cost. Please, inquire me for a quote and a customised tour.

  • Other: Service of course! I can offer tailored local tours for groups up to 10 people, please enquire if your group is more than 4 persons. Depending on your requests I can customize your itinerary to a tour that suits you, to your best interests, no matter if you have difficulties on some activities, need to make special arrangements for your kids, you name it… yet the best thing is that we can alter on any minute to make you feel enjoyable and comfortable during the whole course. The concept of my tour is to show how us locals live and commute here, what our everyday lives are like to experience the location. We will be commuting by foot, public transport (subways and bus) and taxis, rest assured, our world-renowned public transport system by cleanliness and efficiency will surely take you by surprise. As by "toursbylocals" culture, everyone has a story to tell and you will never go wrong hanging out with a local. I look forward to taking you out to see Hong Kong!

  • Other: Personal expenses. Price for up to 4 persons. Depending on your preferences, your personal expense of $500 Hong Kong dollars per day may vary. However, tour fee does not cover: Cost of any transportation, meals, drinks, snacks, entrance fees, rides. If you are in Hong Kong for 3 days or more, I would recommend you to get a local "Octopus" card which is a top-up card with credit inside to pay for most transports, vending machines, convenient stores, Starbucks, and many more chain stores. It cost HK$150 and it has got HK$100 credit and $50 as a deposit which you can get back once you return the card. This card will save you a lot of time and hassle with carrying a lot of coins. We can get one together if you are not sure. Private transportation can be arranged at extra costs.
