Hong Kong Cultural Immersion Full Day Private Walking Tour

I booked a tour of HK with Kiyo for myself and my 16 year old son for the end of July, the tour with Kiyo was definitely the highlight of our visit to Hong Kong. Kiyo was very knowledgeable, he actually provided so much information, which is not really the standard for many tour guides. He adjusted our tour to the pouring rain in such a way that we simply had a great time - my teenage son was thrilled with the program and the activities that Kiyo chose for us. We also had great food during the tour. I will not reveal any more but I strongly recommend Kiyo as your guide for HK. We highly recommend seeing Hong Kong with Kiyo. He did such a good job of revealing the multiple layers of Hong Kong history and culture. His insight and commentary on architecture was terrific. We also deeply appreciated the time he spent explaining the different religious customs and their influence. An incredible tour! This was my first time in Hong Kong, and I only had one day to see the city (it was a work trip), so I needed to make it count. This tour was everything I had hoped for: architecture, history, culture & religion, food, gardens, neighborhoods, markets, and even tips for getting around and good takeout spots near my hotel. Kiyo brought me to many fun and unusual places I never would have thought to look for, let alone would have found. I learned a ton, and the day flew by. The tour was nicely customized, too. Kiyo adapted the food selections to my tastes. And an extra challenge was that the forecast was rain on and off all day. Kiyo adjusted the tour to account for the rain--even timing different parts of the tour to be indoors at specific times of day. As Victoria Peak was obscured by clouds, he took me to other spots where I was able to get great views of the city. In short, this was a fabulous tour, personalized to me (and the weather), with a lot of attention to detail. Kiyo was a delight to spend the day with. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

Our three-day tour with Kiyo was outstanding! The things we saw throughout the Hong Kong area were amazing, and could not have happened without Kiyo's thorough planning and his advanced preparation. We truly enjoyed the time spent with him. He is a flexible guide and will gladly tailor the days based on your interests and likes. We highly recommend hiring Kiyo as your guide for one or multiple days if you are visiting Hong Kong, Lantau Island or the New Territories area.

Kiyo did an excellent job introducing us to Hong Kong on our 8-hour tour. We especially enjoyed his description of the central-area skyscrapers and their feng shui. And his English was perfect.
