The best local tour in Hong Kong! We will explore Kowloon, walking through its markets with a local tour guide, as most menus are written in Chinese. We will sample a variety of street food, and if you're adventurous, we can try snake soup, snake wine, or turtle jelly. Or we can keep it mild with herbal tea, mango mochi, egg tarts, all kinds of tropical fruits, tofu in many forms, rice rolls, and more. Along the way, we will learn about local culture, including the relationship between animals and humans at the Bird Market and Goldfish Street, as well as the importance of freshness in Cantonese cuisine at the wet market. I am a local artist (Circle Walker) and I am happy to draw you portraits at the end of the tour if you like : )
