Let me introduce myself, I am a people-oriented and resourceful person, born in the magnificent Quebec City. I studied in a private college and I obtained a Quebec Diploma of College Studies in Tourism. I am a Historical Tour Guide who has many years of experience. Having strong communication skills in English, I really enjoy meeting tourists from all around the world and I am very enthusiastic when I talk about New France History. A good time to visit Quebec City is end of May and June, it's not too hot and not crowded. Customised Walking Tours are surely the best ones because I can easily adapt the tour to your specific needs. If you want to see a lot of details in Quebec City or Levis City's architecture here are four Walking Tours : * Best Walking Tour : City of Levis (Magnificent view of Quebec City on the other side of the Saint-Lawrence River) * The Fortified Quebec Private Walking Tour * Old Quebec Walking Tour * The Christmas Walking Tour in Old Quebec (From November 23rd to January 6th, you will need warm clothes) Compared to other cities in the world, Quebec City is not very old; however, it is the oldest city north of Florida (St. Augustine being the oldest city in North America, founded in 1565) Please note that I will not do two tours on the same day, so you will have a good quality tour. Also, if possible, don't book at the last minute. * Licensed Quebec City Tour Guide since 2004 * Diploma of Collegiate Studies in Tourism * In 2004, I was a nominee for best student in English Class * I have been a nominee for best student in Tourism Class

Saint-Roch District is not well known amongst the travellers. This tour will be done in three different streets : the main street, which is more modern, and two historical streets. You will enjoy hearing about the history of the Working Class people in the 18th and 19th century. Also to learn why are the architecture of the residences so different in the Lower Town compare to the Upper Town. Being mostly a Cultural, Historical and Architectural Private Walking Tour, you should appreciate to see where the Young Urban Professional and many locals live.
Meeting location will be decided upon booking Here are some of the places we will see : -A Few modern buildings -A Quebec' traditional house and it's carriage door -A French style architecture house -A city garden (flowers and a waterfall, in summer) -An American style factory -If possible : the bus and train terminal And so much more. . .

It's a walking tour, so no transportation are provided. I suggest that you take a cab if your hotel is far away from St. Joseph Street. If your hotel is at less then a 10-minute walk to the Lower Town Library, you won't need a cab.
