We enjoyed our tour of Sofia with Marina. She provided us with a great overview of the key sights in the town and provided us with a local’s perspective of city life and the history that surrounds them. She was flexible on the pace of the tour and very engaging.
This was a fantastic Sofia tour. Marina took great care to show us the top sites in Sofia and explain the history and details of each point of interest we visited. As well as a brief overview of the 6000+ year history of Bulgaria. We only wished we could extend the tour through the rest of the afternoon - as there is simply so much to see in Sofia. We would highly recommend Marina or anyone visiting Sofia. I can’t imagine coming here without having an informed skilled guide to introduce a visitor to this incredible city and help give history, background, details and context to so many of the impressive sites.
Marina, We (6 people) loved our walking tour with Marina. She very kindly met us at our hotel and began by showing us how to use the trams and metro system! Marina was able to explain the long and complex Bulgarian history to us in an interesting and relevant way. She asked good questions to tailor the tour to our interests and our other Bulgarian travels. She also answered our many questions with grace :) I highly recommend Marina for any of her tours!
Wonderful tour of all the key sites in Sofia. Marina is one of those guides who has had many roles and as a result is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of Sofia and Bulgaria in general. We had a very relaxed walk, but seemed to cover and immense amount of ground, even finding the to drink some of the natural mineral water next to the former spa. Marina has other tours and the next time I am in Sofia I will definitely be booking one of them.
