G’day, I’m Josh, and I’d love to show you around Hobart! I’m a storyteller at heart, with a deep love for Tasmanian and Australian history, good food, cold beer, and great company. Whether it’s the convict past, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, or the best spots for a local brew, I bring the stories of this city to life with a mix of humour, insight, and local knowledge. Having lived and worked around Australia in my former career as a radio host and around the world in my role as a marriage celbebrant today, I’ve settled in Tasmania, captivated by its charm, its people, and, let’s be honest, its top-tier whisky. Whether you’re here for the history, the pubs, or just a good yarn, I’ll make sure you see the best of Hobart in a way that’s fun, relaxed, and full of memorable moments. Licensed and authorised to run tours in Tasmania including in the National Parks, and also to drive passengers. I'm also a Commonwealth Authorised Marriage Celebrant in case you wanted to tie the knot while you were in town!

This intimate tour takes you deep into Tasmania's convict past at the UNESCO World Heritage Port Arthur Historic Site, where you'll enjoy privileged access including a guided walk, harbour cruise, and the haunting Isle of the Dead tour. After a included lunch at the historic 1830 Restaurant, we'll introduce you to Tasmania's iconic wildlife at either the innovative Tasmanian Devil Unzoo or the conservation-focused Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Throughout the day, you'll travel in comfort in a modern SUV, with hotel pickup and drop-off included. Unlike rushed group tours, this personalised experience gives you time to truly connect with Tasmania's remarkable heritage and wildlife, with a knowledgeable local sharing honest insights about our island's complex history and unique ecosystem.
Your day begins with pickup from your Hobart accommodation around 9:15am. We'll travel the historic convict trail through Richmond, pausing at the Eaglehawk Neck Dog Line before exploring the remarkable Tessellated Pavement, Tasman Arch and Devil's Kitchen – natural wonders that showcase Tasmania's dramatic coastline. At Port Arthur (11:30am), enjoy an included lunch before your comprehensive site experience featuring a guided walk, harbour cruise, and the Isle of the Dead tour. By 3:00pm, we'll encounter Tasmania's unique wildlife at either the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo (a shorter drive) or Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary (offering more species variety). Throughout the day, we'll take time for refreshment breaks and photo opportunities, returning you to Hobart by sunset and dinner time.
