COME DOWN FOR AIR I've always had this ' Free Spirited Soul'. . . . and with the opportunity to engage daily with clients from around this beautiful planet. . . it's such a joy. They 'call-this-work'? I don't think so. One has to be passionate, caring, enthusiastic and excited about their environment. . . . and that honestly describes me. Thirty years happily employed and contracted with many outstanding past and present tour operators within various Australian and overseas regions. I have had the pleasure of leading extended International and Australian tours in many regions, including all over Australia; the Scandinavian countries; Russia; Estonia; New Zealand; Vietnam and Fiji. Driving and guiding throughout Australia, and now very much based in this beautiful city - Hobart, Tasmania. The wilderness and remote regions of Tasmania. . . really do bring in the 'Wow' factor of exploring. Let me show you. With a extensive past of escorting, leading, driving and guiding tour programs. . . . there's nothing like hands-on-local knowledge and experience. Showcasing this amazing 'Island-off-an Island' - really is so enjoyable. Changing scenery, weather, nature, food and the amazing locals producing some of Australia's finest produce. I can design a Tasmanian tour that covers whatever your passionate about. Doesn't matter if it's only for a morning, an afternoon around Hobart, a full day heading South or North. . . or extended tours exploring this fascinating Island. I have the expertise to make a journey with 'IT'S a BEAUTIFUL DAY' - very special indeed. Proudly operating throughout Tasmania, Australia. Thirty years employed and contracted with outstanding and well known past and present tourism operators within Australia but also overseas markets. As a experienced guide, I have excellent Tour Evaluations submitted by clients. Positive end-of-tour feed back for the many various tours over many years. These are available on request, along with reliable reference details. I simply love my profession escorting and leading tours. It's a passion that's never fading! A passion that is constantly growing...is more descriptive. I understand what domestic and international clients that truly want. Local experience. Local knowledge. We travel South from Hobart and cross via our SeaLink Ferry across to magnificent Bruny Island. Enroute is full of adventure - with the exclusive opportunity to visit a remarkable Bird Raptor Sanctuary, with the opportunity to observe native birds of prey in this private Sanctuary. Continuing onto Kettering...we board the ferry (30min) across the D'entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island. On arrival we really start exploring beautiful Bruny Island - North and South - with panoramic views across D'entrecasteaux Channel, the Great Southern Ocean, Mt.Wellington and Iron Pot Lighthouse (Tasmania' oldest 1832). We enjoy numerous scenic photo stops. And remember, being a small travelling group (max. x3)....there's no rushing around. Nice. Enjoy morning tea .....somewhere special ....as we continue to explore the Island. Simply enjoy the ambiance of Bruny. It's stunning. Having spent some years living on Bruny, I can certainly share my experiences. The best ! This tour is flexible.
- Early morning departure Hobart accommodation. - We then venture South to the Raptor Refuge at Kettering. - A guided tour here observing Tasmanian native Raptors - Eagles; Sea Eagles and Owls. . . to name a few. - Then off towards the ferry crossing the Channel to Bruny Island. It's a fabulous 30min crossing. Spot the Dolphins and Seals. - Arriving on Bruny, we head North to Dennes Point, then return Southwards towards The Neck - a 360 degree lookout across the Channel. - Included lunch: Here we grab six plump Tassie oysters from 'Get Shucked' to go. . . and add these to our picnic. Along with local cheeses, smoked meats and salmon, pickles etc from next door. There's so much local produce from the Island. And now? .....Finding THE perfect beachfront picnic table to enjoy your included lunch. Easy. With lunch enjoy a glass of Tasmanian wines, mineral waters, plunger local coffee or teas. Weather isn't so great. . . we can easily have an alternative lunch venue. Flexibility? - The key-word in Tasmania.
