Gaston is a gentleman, reliable, knowledgeable on Ushuaia and an excellent choice for a guided tour. He’s an experienced birder willing to use his scopes and binoculars to share the experiences with you. The area history, culture and nature are themes he wants you to experience on his tours. Communicates well, dependable and thorough on logistics.

Gaston is extremely knowledgable, fun to talk to and goes out of his way to make the experience relaxing and memorable. We've worked with Gaston twice and would recommend him to anyone! He was excellent at spotting and identifying birds and even brought his spotting scope. You could not ask for a better guide. We whole heartedly recommend him!

Gaston’s skills are significantly greater than the usual tour guide. He offered us a studied and extensive introduction to the flora, fauna, geology, and current state of the Tierra del Fuego National Park in Argentina. His command of English was excellent, so that he could answer our questions in great detail. The vehicle he provided for our party of four was both rugged and comfortable. He was attentive to our needs, and quickly adjusted the tour for rest stops and to photograph wildlife. For roughly the same price as a ship’s tour on a large coach with 40 passengers, we were able to see so much more and in greater comfort in the five hours available to us, during which we visited nearly every motorable corner of the park, in addition to a driving tour of Ushuaia itself, with stops at perfect vistas for photographs.
