Greetings from Patagonia! My name is Alex and I was lucky to be born and grow up in the amazing city of Puerto Madryn. I like to travel, technology and good food. A few years ago I returned from Buenos Aires with my wife, where I studied and worked for several years, to return to settle in my hometown. I am an enthusiastic and friendly driver-guide who loves to show all visitors what this part of Patagonia has to offer. I like to get out of the normal structure of the regular guide, but at the same time inform and tell everything you expect to know when you arrive at this destination. If you want to visit this destination with a cordial and attentive person, I am the right person, I have been dedicated to tourism and hospitality for several years. I have been working for a long time as a guide driver, so I am familiar with the main tours in the area, mainly mixed with wildlife and adventure, in my comfortable Renault Duster car, where we can safely travel any place and obstacle that crosses our path. way. I have enough experience to give you the tranquility and attention that you are looking for Do you want to get off the beaten path and explore new ones? Well worth me, if you want suggestions for new places I also have them, any adventure is welcome. If you want to change the type of tour and do something walking or cycling, also count on me, there are many ways to explore the main attractions of Puerto Madryn. I am at your disposal to help you explore this place as much as you like and in the way that best suits what you are looking for. I am looking forward to many adventures together, and have unique experiences in one of the best places in the Argentina to see animals. Degree in tourism by Palermo University ( Buenos Aires ) Professional driver's license Port access credentials for shore excursions I am not a licensed guide but i have a degree in tourism, a professional driver's license, and a lot of service vocation

On this excursion we will visit and discover the largest reserve of Magellanic Penguins in South America. Walk among penguins, it's a unique experience in the world that few are lucky to live. During September to April, Punta Tombo is one of the best places to see Magellanic Penguins, and this reserve has a path of about 1, 5 kilometers that begins in the Patagonian steppe field until you reach the coast area where the penguins arrive from the sea to the continent to recondition its nests every year and fulfill its cycle of breeding and breeding of its pigeons. You can see the vastness of the colony, full of nests everywhere. Enjoy this funny tour and its great moments of joy with a local, with a different perspective, but always linked to tourism in the area for years. .

Great tour and guide. Highly recommend. Friendly and knowledgeable.
I knew that I had picked the right guide immediately when we met Alex. He had the same sense of urgency need to make our day at the penguins a huge success! Ask him about the time he had to beat all the busses down there! Alex is extremely personable and very easy to talk to. You cannot go wrong if you hire Alex! I promise that to you!
Alex was amazing. He arrived early for pick up and was waiting for me when I came down early. I had booked a transfer from Santiago to Valparaiso with a tour of along the way. We had to adjust the tour because of fires in Valparaiso which was no problem at all. Alex had a plan when he arrived and we had a wonderful tour + ship drop off. Cannot recommend Alex highly enough!
Alex gave us a wonderful tour to see the penguins. He took a different route than the cruise ship buses so we arrived before the crowds. He was very conscious of our time restraints, but built in time to see the museum, and even to stop to take pictures at the life size recreation of the world's largest dinosaur. He provided us with a box lunch and water also, so we didn't have to stop to eat lunch. We got back in plenty of time to meet the boat.
It was a great tour with Alex. He's very profissional, helpfull and knows everything about Patagónia.
* The tour begins leaving the city and taking the national route No. 3, which after passing the city of Trelew, we can find a detour that will help us to join the provincial route No. 1 and then reach the nature reserve. * It is a journey of 170 km to reach Punta Tombo from Puerto Madryn (about 2 hours), admiring the immense Patagonian aridity along the way. * Once at destination, an entrance fee must be paid, where we also find an interesting Interpretation Center, dedicated to the different stages of the Penguin life cycle and its natural environment. * At this point the most exciting part of the route begins, being able to walk among penguins, along a 1, 5-kilometer path that begins in the Patagonian steppe field until you reach the coast area. * Once the tour of the reservation is finished, we begin the return to the city (about 2 hours to get back to the city). The itinerary can be customized according to your preferences and interests.
