Overview of your Puerto Madryn tour
After an hour's drive from Puerto Madryn, we'll be reaching the Provintial reserve of Peninsula Valdes, known world wide for all the marine wildlife that every year arrives to this place. If you arrive to this part of Patagonia in the months of June to mid December it is possible to watch the Southern Right Whale, and from September to April you'll have the opportunity to observe Penguins, Elephant Seals, Sea Lions and the most unique terrestrial wildlife, all these immerse in a unique landscape. The tour will take approx. 8 hours as we do 250 miles (400 km) round trip to drive around Peninsula Valdes, but throughout the day we'll do different stops and short walks in order to enjoy the wildlife and, time permitting, have lunch as well. So please let me know any questions you may have and I'll give my best to suggest you anything you need that fits your needs and wishes.

Rogelio is a very experienced guide and full of interesting knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area. Be prepared for a long ride which can seem even longer as the terrain looks all the same until you get to the water. We did see sea lions, elephant seals from a distance, so take your binoculars (Rogelio also has a set with him). We did get close to penguins which was a plus and the view from the cliffs is spectacular. The vehicle is a bit tight for 4 passengers and the ride along unpaved roads long and noisy.

Roger and his driver provided a fabulous tour for our family of 5. He was able to accommodate our group in a comfortable vehicle and ensured that we had the best experience possible by adjusting our day to avoid the large tour buses. We saw penguins, seals, sea lions, guanaco, and even searched around until we saw cavies. Roger thought of everything including a snack and water bottles. Very knowledgeable and engaging. Fabulous tour!!!

Rogelio was a wonderful guide. He communicated fully prior to pick up, pick up was easy and our tour was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the sites we visited and did his best to avoid the crowds. His car was comfortable and we felt safe. Great tour, highly recommended.

* We begin at the arranged meeting point * After 40 minutes drive we will stop at the Visitor Center in Peninsula Valdes * Next stop will be Puerto Piramides *After 1 1/2 hours, we will stop at Caleta Valdes or Punta Norte (this can vary throughout the year) * After 2 hour's drive we will be back in Puerto Madryn at the same place we met that morning
