Enjoy a full day among penguins in Punta Tombo

Carina was an excellent tour guide! She was punctual, pleasant and had very good English. The tour to Peninsula Valdes was extraordinary! We stopped several times along the way for Guanacos, sheep, birds, etc. to cross the road capturing great photos of the wildlife. She promised us penguins all to ourselves and we were not disappointed. The Megellanic penguins were magical - so many to see and so close to us!! After spending much time with the penguins we proceeded to Punta Norte to visit the sea lions and elephant seals. There were so many on the beach and the paths with overhangs were great for taking photos! Carina prepared us a boxed lunch which was excellent! The drive there and back was long, but well worth it! Thank you Carina for making our tour with you a great memory that we will cherish for a lifetime!

What an unforgettable experience we had with Carina and the driver going to see the penquins. The drive there was filled with wonderful conversation about the area, the wildlife and the culture of the area. After enjoying the beauty of the ocean and life of the penquins we had a delicious hand prepared lunch before heading back to Puerto Madryn. On the way back we had a delightful unplanned visit to the oldest Welch Church in Chile and then were treated to a drive along the coastline of Puerto Madryn.

Carina is a warm and welcoming person. We had a lovely day with her as our guide when she took us to the Punta Tombo Rookery for an amazing day with the penguins. She managed our time beautifully and she arranged a delicious boxed lunch for us as well. Our day was special...thanks to Carina!

Carina delivered exactly what she promised. She was at the exact spot we expected and then a comfortable car ride to Punta Tomba ( 1/2 hours from Puerto Madryn). She helped us explore the penguin preserve by guiding our route and explaining the Magellanic penguins, llamas and birds that make this area home. She was very important for helping one family member in a wheelchair get the full experience. Carina provided a substantial and tasty box lunch for the return trip. A great day, thanks to Carina!

Carina is an excellent nature guide, she knows where to look for and find a stunning array of wildlife. Pick-up was on time in a modern, clean 4x4. Today we explored the Chubut River valley, home to waterfowl and marine birds. Carina even arranged for a dolphin tour to view the endemic Commerson's Dolphin, stunning! I was impressed by her knowledge of the natural world. As a solo traveler, I felt quite at home in the raw beauty of the slice of Argentina that Carina shared with me.
