Trelew & Gaiman: Dinosaurs, Welsh Heritage & Tea Experience

🚗 Join me on an a tour where ancient giants and Welsh traditions come together in one unforgettable experience. We'll visit the renowned Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum, home to some of the world's most important dinosaur discoveries, before continuing to the charming town of Gaiman. There, we'll stroll through its historic streets, discover the legacy of the Welsh settlers, and enjoy a traditional Welsh tea experience, one of Patagonia's most cherished cultural traditions. If you prefer not to have Welsh tea, we can instead visit a local farm, where you'll learn about regional production and have the opportunity to sample and purchase local specialties. This experience offers a unique opportunity to discover a different side of Patagonia beyond its incredible wildlife. This private tour includes transportation in a private vehicle with a professional driver, as well as my guiding service throughout the experience.

Meeting point in Puerto Madryn: We'll coordinate the most convenient meeting point according to your accommodation or travel plans. Journey to Trelew (approx. 1 hour): Enjoy the drive while learning about the history and landscapes of the Lower Chubut River Valley. Egidio Feruglio Paleontological Museum (takes approx. 2 hours): Explore one of South America's leading natural history museums and discover our incredible prehistoric past. Journey to Gaiman (approx. 25 min) Gaiman (approx. 2 hours): Walk through the town, learn about Welsh settlement in Patagonia, and enjoy a traditional Welsh tea experience (optional and not included). If tea isn't your thing, we can visit a local farm, meet the producers, learn about their work, and shop for delicious regional specialties. Return to Puerto Madryn (approx. 1 hour). The tour ends at the same meeting point.
