I was born in the NW valley of Albuquerque, High School and College. Both my parents families were the beneficiaries of land grants in Northern New Mexico, one was from the King of Spain the other Woodrow Wilson back in the 1800's so my history and culture of New Mexico goes back many generations. New Mexico is my passion, I was absent from the state for 30 years as I was employed at Boeing as a engineer making aircraft in the state of Washington. I would return to my home state several times a year during my absence and each trip involved mountain hikes and camping in Northern New Mexico to explore and experience the beauty of this state. I have hiked the highest peaks of New Mexico (Truchas, Wheeler, Jicarita and many more) on my solo adventures. The most memorable was on Wheeler Peak (13, 161') was a sunset ascent and then a moonlit descent, the other was a late December solo summit on the snow covered trail. Hiking in snow is a typical hike that I have experienced in the state of Washington hiking to the base camps on Mt Rainier, summiting Mt Adams on a two day and other day hikes on snow covered mountains of Washington. I am an outdoor enthusiast and can offer high altitude running on the mountain trails, bike tours and other exciting adventures. I was/am an active runner competing in over 500 races (of all distances) in the last 10 years. Adventures with beauty and excitement awaits!! George Gonzales is an excellent tour guide. He provided us with a lot of interesting information about Albuquerque. His tour took us to some very interesting places.
George was very helpful and provided a terrific tour for me. I was able to spend the entire day touring around Santa Fe focusing on the historic district. He also kindly helped me with my pet while I was touring churches and museums. He knew a terrific lunch spot and made the reservations... It was delicious; He recommended a wonderful store where I was able to purchase...

Eileen was a great customer and very engaging, her dog Milly was a sweetie. Eileen says she will be back hope to show her and her family more places of NM beauty.
Disappointing day with a very nice man. Do go hiking with him; that is his passion. Do not do the Turquoise Trail. He knew nothing about the sites we visited. He read the signs and brochures as we got to the places we visited.

I guess i need to verify with my customers if they can walk .3 miles and at a elevation of 62', i will put that in the info of the tour. This tour is more of a drive not walking, Madrid is shops, & a few galleries, 1 museum that is yet 2 open for the season, Cerillos is a few buildings & mines, but its rustic and most people enjoy this, the church in Golden is quaint and...
George's tour of Albuquerque was a real treat for me. I had not been here in 60 years (it's grown), and was reluctant to drive myself around the town--it's difficult to drive and take in the sights at the same time. It was fun to visit local sites and hear about them from a local who had grown up there. One of my favorites was the nature center with it's cottonwood...
