Hola! My name is Honoria. I am a native New Mexican; born in the capitol Santa Fe, raised in the north Chama area, and currently residing in Albuquerque, the largest city in NM. My passion since I can remember has been people and travel. Some of my favorite adventures include studying abroad in Spain, attaining my yoga instructor certification in Greece and playing international basketball along the coast of Australia. In our family, each birthday was spent traveling to that family member's location of choice. With 5 siblings, this has allowed for an uncanny amount of travel in my short life. My mom has always adored guided tours. I remember every vacation, to this day, MUST include at least one. Touring holds a unique sentimental value to me as some of my fondest memories were created on tours. It is my goal to provide an amazing, personalized, memorable experience that you too can reminisce on for years to come. A big part of my responsibilities during my college internship was giving tours of the pheasant hunting lodge, the adjourning acreage where the guests would be hunting as well as the precious town of Pierre, SD. I guess I did something right; the company asked me to return as the Front of House Manager the following year at a quaint fishing lodge located outside of Venice, Louisiana. My favorite part of the job, undoubtably, was working closely with the local fishing and boat companies to coordinate tours and fishing trips for guests. About me: I am a fun, bubbly, sweet, enthusiastic, outgoing, fit, engaging guide. As a born/raised local I am familiar with many different attractions and adventures New Mexico offers however, as a world traveler I am also accustomed with many different tour styles giving me the knowledge and experience to give you just the tour you are looking for! I am proud to be a New Mexican and I can't wait to share my beautiful home with you! But I warn you. Proceed with caution-New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment. As locals we joke it is really the "Land of Entrapment" because those who live here never leave and those who visit, always return. Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management Accredited 200HR Yoga Instructor Certification Alcohol Servers License Lodge of the Year Award by Hunting Sporting Classics Daily 2017 I have a sweet professionally trained, medium size service dog named Cheif. His Service Dog Registration # is: 056000013410556. He usually accompanies me everywhere. If you would NOT like him to attend your tour, please specify in advance.
