Guide #3446
Originally from Southern California, I have lived on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca (Majorca) since 1994. I consider myself a local and enjoy showing visitors what I love about Mallorca as though they were my family or best friends. My specialty is visiting the unknown Mallorca, off the beaten path, away from tourist traps. My tours offer more than the usual mass tourism sites, museums, and monuments. I concentrate on a local experience, emphasizing the people, the food, and the smaller places to find hidden treasures for unique experiences and powerful interactions. As I've traveled through Europe, I've noticed that many visitors, especially first-time visitors, don't have the chance to travel outside the capital cities. Come with me to visit Mallorca's specialty wineries, its picturesque markets, beautiful beaches, and coves. Slow down and enjoy my signature tour, "Made in Mallorca. " Visit the workshops of the island's artisans and learn the process of how handcrafted a master luthier makes concert and flamenco guitars. The workshops of contemporary and traditional ceramicists, glassmakers, shoemakers, and many more are open to you. If food and wine are more to your liking, you'll be surprised to know that the island has over 100 wineries! Let's visit a few and pair the wine with a traditional Mallorcan lunch. Visit an olive grove and taste extra virgin olive oil after being pressed. Meet the locals! Much has happened in Mallorca, and it is reflected in the sites, the food, and in the faces of the islanders. This is the Mallorca I would like to show you. Since starting with ToursByLocals in 2012, I've worked closely with US travel agencies, destination management companies, luxury hotels, and cruise ships to show the best of Mallorca to their clients. ** All tours can be customized, and more people can be added to the tours. Add or delete elements as you like. Just message me with your ideas, and I will help you to create a memorable visit. UCLA Graduate in Fine Arts & Design Professional Degree in Guiding, Assistance, and Tourist Information Official Tour Guide License GTOIB - 2204 I've worked in advertising and as a writer contributing articles about Mallorca's cultural and gastronomy scene for Finest Addresses Mallorca, the US-based Cuisine Noir Magazine, The Culinary Scoop, the Nile Guide, and as founding editor and journalist for Mallorca Golf&Go! Magazine.

The train to Soller is a real treat. The views are stunning and the train is darling. Gina was a great tour guide both before we got on the train and after we arrived in Soller. We had a great day. Thank you Gina!
Gina's tour was concentrated on the beautiful mountain towns 25 minutes from the port. I realized she hires a driver because the towns are very small and parking limited. This way for our convenience we could be dropped off and picked up without long walks to parking. The scenery and Historic background provided by Gina made the tour very satisfying. I think the...

Gina was a terrific guide. She has an in depth knowledge of Palma’s history, architecture, culture and daily life. She guided us to all the most interesting sites via small, beautiful back streets avoiding the crowded tourist spots. We had a wonderful day. It was a memorable experience and gets our highest recommendation!
