Dear friends, my name is Juraj and I am a historian, a mountaineer as well as a certified tourist guide offering private tours in Bratislava, Trnava and Central Slovakia. I have been guiding tourists for more than seven years and I love the job. Cultural tourism is my main focus, however, I also offer various general tours in towns. Moreover, I love good wine, so I can take you to some really beautiful old wine cellars. I lived in Bratislava for more than 12 years, where I studied at the University and did my PhD. When not doing research in libraries, you could find me wandering through the old town cobbled streets, exploring surrounding lush forests or canoeing on the Danube. Currently, I live in Trnava, a lovely medieval town just half an hour drive from Bratislava. We could go for a walking tour or for a half-day/full-day trip to discover rich history of this small yet splendid country in the heart of Europe.
