A true local, I was born and bred in Wellington and grew up on western hills above Petone, a suburb on the northern edge of beautiful Wellington Harbour. After studying at the University of Otago, Dunedin, I lived and travelled throughout Asia where I learned what creates a great adventure holiday experience. Upon my return to Wellington, I founded my own small group tour company to make it easier for tourists to experience the local sights and flavours of the fascinating Wellington region. I have a passion for food, beer and wine and many of my tours focus around the wonderful local producers in the region. I'm also a keen sports fan with a particular obsession with cricket! Philip did an excellent job! He was very personable, knowledgeable and shared many facts and answered all of our questions. We had a great overview of Wellington, hitting the highlights and spectacular beauty. We were treated to a great lunch and cable car ride. Would highly recommend Philip!

Phil provided an excellent overview tour for our 1 day in Wellington. We appreciated the orientation he provided to the geography and layout of the area. We had a great time with Philip showing us around his beautiful city of Wellington. There were nine of us in total. We were able to understand the history of this gorgeous land. We had a great day with Phillip on our private tour. We went far from town and the cruise ship so there was no way we could have done this without a private tour. He was able to pick us up right at the pier instead of town, and we were off to see a rain forest, swing bridge, beautiful vistas, vast farmland, seals lounging and a healthy climb up to a lighthouse.
