My name is Carlos, I am a professional tour guide with certification in Mayan Culture; I was born and raised in Bacalar Town with a special interest in wild nature and Mayan history. Ever since I started being a tour guide 5 years ago I like to provide the best and enriching tour experience for everybody. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and show them how amazing this part of Mexico is. My town is beautiful, we have the 7-color lake with four amazing cenotes and the Fort of San Felipe with a lot of history behind that I'd like to share with you on your next visit. Carlos was a wonderful tour guide. His knowledge of the Chacchoben Mayan ruins was fantastic. The setting of Bacalar Lake was wonderful, the lake was a perfect blue, the lunch on the dock was very good and during lunch we had time to visit with Carlos about his home area and the lake.

Carlos was outstanding! He gave perfect directions to where we would meet, his car was comfortable and clean, his English was impeccable and he tailored the tour to meet our specific interests and limitations.
