Grand Canyon South Rim: 1 Day Scenic Tour

David is one of the most experienced tour guides we have ever had. He is so nice and always knew the answers to our questions. We enjoyed this very much. Great guy and highly recommend!

We had the best experience with David! At age 46, I had never seen the Grand Canyon, and we had only one day to visit, so I wanted to make the most of it. David picked us up in Flagstaff and on our way up to the Grand Canyon park entrance shared so much history about the geography of the area. Had we driven ourselves, we would have flown by so many fascinating things on the highway without ever having known what we were missing. Once at the Canyon, he knew great spots for viewing, and seemed to have a ready answer for virtually every question we had for him. He picked out and made a reservation for an amazing lunch spot for us as well. Overall, I could not have had nearly as fulfilling of an experience trying to visit on my own.

In the three days since we took David's Grand Canyon tour, my family and I have not stopped talking about him or the excellence of his work. He is that rarest of combinations: a true expert in his field, a genuinely warm and friendly soul, and a guide who made our five-person group feel like we'd been taken in by family for a day. None of us can imagine having seen the Grand Canyon, or the beautiful countryside around it, without David at the helm.

Absolutely the best day for my little family! Took the stress of me planning, parking and finding all the right spots to see! Clean vehicle, snacks, always asking if we needed anything. We appreciated his knowledge about nature and entire state, who knew Arizona had so much.

I had a great trip. As a certified canyon guide, he clearly knows all the insider tricks to make a trip the best possible (routes, stops, entrances, photo spots). He was very knowledgable about the local history, animals and native plants. David was prompt and a complete professional. Comfortable vehicle. Very full day from Phoenix but we had plenty of breaks. He is a pro at this and it showed - I had a magical day seeing the Grand Canyon.
