Greetings and welcome to Pittsburgh! My name is Mary Ann and it will be my pleasure to show you around what locals refer to as "The Burgh". I specialize in well organized high end relaxing tours. It is my wish that all of my guests enjoy their time spent in Pittsburgh. I will work with you to ensure the best experience possible. Pittsburgh is a city in southwestern Pennsylvania situated on three rivers and rich in history, culture and tradition. Currently, I live in the Mt Washington neighborhood which overlooks the city and is home to the famous Monogahela and Duquesne inclines. Mt Washington is centrally located making it easy to customize the flow of your selected tour package (based on your hotel location) so we are able to manage our time wisely. In addition, I was born and raised just south of the city so I am quite familiar and able to navigate in the outlying areas as well. From Oakland to the North Side, or the Strip district to the South Side and many points in between, it will be my pleasure to share the many mysteries of Pittsburgh with you! Bachelor of Science, Education, Slippery Rock University. Master of Arts, Leadership and Liberal Studies, Duquesne University. CITM, Certified International Tour Guide, Denver Colorado. certain historical landmarks are staffed by employees so I will be unable to narrarate portions of some tours.

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city to visit the National Memorial that honors the Passengers and crew of United Flight 93. This 40 acre facility in Stonycreek Township includes the story and sequence of events of September 11, 2001. Tour the flight path, the visitors center, the museum, the crash site and the Memorial Wall. It is handicap friendly equipped with wheelchairs for public use. The drive time is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes from the city of Pittsburgh. A morning start is recommended.
Pick up at hotel and head east toward the Laurel mountains. A morning stop in the town of Ligoneer to visit the fort then continue to the flight 93 Memorial. The time on site aprox 2-3 hours. A return back down the mountain with a stop for lunch then return to hotel.
