My first visit to Las Vegas was in 1993 and I know then this was the place for me. In 1995 I relocated from Germany (Hannover)to Henderson. Red Rock Canyon was designated as Nevada's first National Conversation Area, including a 13 mile long scenic drive, miles of hiking trails, nature observing, picnic areas and a Visitor Center with indoor and outdoor exhibits as well as a book and souvenir shop.
Your Las Vegas tour itinerary
-After a brief stop at the Center we will continue our tour by following the -scenic loop, stopping at various location along the way such as Calico Basin, -Sandstone Quarry, -High Point Overlook, -Willow Springs and ancient petroglyphs within waking distance. -Picnic areas located along the loop where you can take a short break. Our tour will end back at your hotel.
