Hello, Thanks for checking out my tours & profile! It's pretty safe to say I enjoy what I do. I am originally from Ohio & have lived in Las Vegas since 2008. Since I was a kid, I have always been a fan of exploring the outdoors, seeing National Parks & taking memorable road trips across the country. Now I get to enjoy Las Vegas & what it has to offer. I have a passion for what I do & enjoy getting to show people what lies beyond the "Strip". I have been lucky to be a guide in Las Vegas since 2012. To this day, whenever I go somewhere new I always like to go on tours. This way you can see the new place through the eyes of a local & hopefully learn something along the way. I became a guide with ToursByLocals because my family & I have used their guides when traveling in other countries in the past & we've had great experiences! I hope to do the same & create memorable adventures for visitors from all over the world. If you have questions about my tours, please do not hesitate to ask! My tours start early for 2 very important reasons: 1) to avoid the crowds 2) to avoid the desert heat. Also, this way you won't spend an entire day of your vacation on a tour. Just over an hour away from Las Vegas, this adventure will show off some of the best photogenic places Valley of Fire has to offer. Let's get away from the city & get our shoes dirty in the desert! This tour offers ample time to hike, explore & even see ancient petroglyphs up close & personal. This is called the Fire Wave Tour for good reason! The highlight of this tour will include a round trip 1. 5 mile/2. 4 km hike out to the famous Fire Wave rock formation. One of the most photographed places in the park, this unique formation has to be seen! Our early start will help us avoid the crowds & most importantly the heat of the Mojave Desert. So sit back, relax & allow me to be your guide in the extraordinary landscape of Valley of Fire State Park. **HIGHLY recommended to wear closed toe shoes, hats, sunscreen & sunglasses during your tour.
