Valley of Fire is one the oldest and most spectacular state parks in Nevada. With rock formations over 250 million years old, you will never see anything more wonder-filled in the Southwest United States. The rock is tacky so climbing and rock scaling is a breeze. As a 10 year rock climbing instructor, I can lead you to places very few know about in the Valley. I have been a tour guide in Valley of Fire for 6 years and can take you on a tour personalized to your skill and difficulty level… all while sharing my intimate knowledge of the Valley of Fire. I have in depth knowledge of the development of the landscape, the petroglyphs of the ancient inhabitants as quell as all the plants and animals.
Laura was personable, patient and accommodated the tour to our pace and abilities. Valley of Fire was absolutely gorgeous and Laura was very knowledgeable about this park and Vegas area. She was a safe driver and provided a stepstool to assist with getting in/out of her Jeep. We really enjoyed our day and recommend this tour!

My wife and I are not typical Vegas visitors - maybe a show or two, and a beverage, yet we don't gamble and love to stay active. So the opportunity to hike Valley of Fire lured us into a half-day experience with Laura. She was terrific. Thoughtful, adventurous, and knowledgeable, she took us on a 2.5 mile experience off the beaten track. Beautiful scenery, great conversation, and my wife and I learned a ton about what we walked through and around. If you want to get away from the casinos and crowds, hire Laura and she will create a memorable and enjoyable experience!
Laura was amazing! We had such a wonderful hike in the Valley of Fire. We were lucky with amazing weather but even luckier with having Laura as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, very funny, and a great photographer! Highly recommend! Thanks Laura for an unforgettable experience!

Pick an easy, moderate, difficult, or super advanced version of most any hike in the valley... or let me customize our own! Do you want a hike that is largely informative? Do you prefer to see petroglyphs or slot canyons? Maybe you just want to drive around and see all the focal points in the part. The entire hike and drive can be anywhere from 4-7 hours.
