Hello, Thanks for checking out my tours & profile! It's pretty safe to say I enjoy what I do. I am originally from Ohio & have lived in Las Vegas since 2008. Since I was a kid, I have always been a fan of exploring the outdoors, seeing National Parks & taking memorable road trips across the country. Now I get to enjoy Las Vegas & what it has to offer. I have a passion for what I do & enjoy getting to show people what lies beyond the "Strip". I have been lucky to be a guide in Las Vegas since 2012. To this day, whenever I go somewhere new I always like to go on tours. This way you can see the new place through the eyes of a local & hopefully learn something along the way. I became a guide with ToursByLocals because my family & I have used their guides when traveling in other countries in the past & we've had great experiences! I hope to do the same & create memorable adventures for visitors from all over the world. If you have questions about my tours, please do not hesitate to ask! My tours start early for 2 very important reasons: 1) to avoid the crowds 2) to avoid the desert heat. Also, this way you won't spend an entire day of your vacation on a tour. See the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world! Owned & operated by the Hualapai tribe, come see the canyon & its natural beauty the way it was meant to be seen! 2 canyon viewpoints will show you just how massive this place really is. Our tour begins with an enjoyable & scenic drive that will contain different mountainous & desert landscapes that almost seem unreal! We will travel through Joshua Tree Forest & then climb a final mountain range before entering the Hualapai Reservation. At the reservation, a shuttle service will take us to the canyon viewpoints. We will actually get to stand on the edge of the canyon, but remember to watch your step, its a long way down! Highpoint Hike is a moderate hike to a great 360 degree view of the canyon where plenty of good photos can be taken. Finally, we will return back to the main Visitor Center before our scenic drive back to Las Vegas!
Shawn was a wonderful tour guide and extremely knowledgeable. We were a group of 4 and he made sure we saw everything we wanted and was perfect with timing. His SUV was very clean and good driving:) I would definitely do another tour with Shawn and I highly recommend him!

We had the best time with Sean, a superguide that we can highly recommend! He has a lot of knowledge of the places we went to see, as well as general knowledge of the area and he is very easy going. Our second tour with him, and if we go back Las Vegas we will definately use him again!
Sean was an outstanding tour guide. We really enjoyed our time with him. He knew the best places to take us and he was fun! My husband left something in the car and he even brought it back to us at the hotel last night. Highly recommend Sean and Tours by Locals.
Sean was an awesome tour guide. He was so patient, helpful, understanding and so knowledgeable. He helped us plan a beautiful day seeing the West Rim of the Canyon. He was so knowledgeable and shared many insights and fun facts regarding many highlights of the area. He was also so patient with us, as we embraced every minute, taking photos and taking in the natural beauty of the Grand Canyon - West Rim.
