My first visit to Las Vegas was in 1993 and I know then this was the place for me. In 1995 I relocated from Germany (Hannover)to Henderson. Valley of Fire is located in the Mojave Desert approximately 60 miles northeast of Las Vegas. It is the oldest Sate Park in Nevada. dedicated 1935. The red sandstone formation were formed over 150 million years ago. These brilliant sandstone formation can appear to be on Fire when reflecting the suns rays.
Your Las Vegas tour itinerary
-After arriving at the Valley of Fire we will stop at the Arch Rock, then Atlalt Rock and the Beehives. -From the Visitor Center we drive on to the Mouse Tank, were you also can walk ( 1/2 mile round trip) to the Petraglyh Canyon. -Following the road to Rainbow Vista and White Domes. The Seven Sisters, the Cabins and the Elephant Rock are on the way to Overton (optional museum/ Ghost Town)or back to your hotel.
