Meet Mike – Your Local Manchester and North West of England Guide. Hello, I’m Mike, and I’m a proud Mancunian who loves sharing my city and the stories that make it special. I was born in Manchester and have spent my life surrounded by the people, places and characters that make this such a unique city. Today, I’m a professional Manchester taxi driver and tour guide, giving me a perspective on the city that goes well beyond the usual tourist attractions. For me, the best tours aren’t about rushing from one landmark to another and ticking boxes. They’re about stories, conversation, discovering hidden gems and seeing a place through the eyes of someone who knows it as home. I have a real passion for Manchester’s history, its music, football, industry, architecture and, most importantly, its people.
