Overview of your Lucerne tour

Discover picture perfect Lucerne on a walk through the old town. This tour meets at your Zürich hotel or Zurich Main Station. We will ride the train together to Lucerne (about 50 minutes). The tour begins direct from the train station, walking along the Reuss River and winding through the centuries old cobbled streets. Along the way we will see The highlights of the city and finish off with a visit to the Lion of Lucerne. You have the afternoon at your leisure and there will be plenty of tips for lunch.

Cynthia led our group of 6 on a customized tour of Zurich that was FANTASTIC! We gave her our wish list and she delivered it perfectly. Her extensive knowledge of the history of Zurich made the tour so interesting and fun for all of us. We got to know Zurich’s past and present, which on our own would not have been possible. The pace was also perfect, there was time to soak it all in and capture it with photo stops. We all agreed that Cynthia was the ideal pick for our tour. Since Cynthia was great for us on a previous tour, we were happy that she was available for the Lucerne City Excursion from Zurich. She was helpful in getting train tickets and joining us for a great train ride to Lucerne. She has a great personality and communication skills. She knew how to best navigate the town in order to see the important sights of Lucerne. She had great recommendations for us to see after the tour was over (which we did). Cynthia is a very enjoyable person and knowledge guide.

We will take the tram or walk from your hotel, then take the train to Lucerne. Lucerne is compact and best seen by foot, also many of the sights we will be visiting are not open to motorized vehicles. This will be a walking tour.
