Overview of your Lucerne tour:

By far the most popular tour from Lucerne. A half-day trip to Mount Pilatus is an unforgettable experience. The boat takes you from Lucerne to Alpnachstad, where the world's steepest rack railway will lead you to Pilatus Kulm (the boat and cogwheel operate only as of the 25th of May). At a height of 2132 meters above sea level, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view. A spectacular ride in the aerial cable car and the gondola ropeway takes you back down into the valley to Kriens and finally, the bus will take you back to Lucerne. This excursion does not include any walk/hike time in the mountains. Please contact me if you wish to include a small walk or hike in the itinerary. I can also organize a small BBQ in one of the open-air grills available on the mountain. Don't miss this opportunity to taste some delicious Swiss sausages and cheese.
