Amantani island is two hours and forty minutes far from Puno, is full of nice and kind people that will be happy to have you in their houses to share part of their lifes, this is an extraordinary opportunity to interact with them, as part of our history and an important part of our country, culture and what makes Peru so interesting. I've always wanted to build a small house to stay there but they are very strict, they told me: "if you want to live here, you are welcome but you have to marry someone". I felt devastated, but they told me: "the next time maybe you'll be born here"

The second day we'll visit Taquile island, it is full of beautiful views and kind people. They are well known in Peru and now they are recognized by UNESCO like world heritage because of their wonderful textiles, if you want to buy something unique and high quality, this is the place!
