Come with me on a nighttime food adventure through Puno, where we'll savor the same incredible local dishes that residents here absolutely love! Our journey kicks off right in the heart of the city, at Parque Pino. We'll begin our tasting with some sweet local delights, including a traditional pastry called alfajor puneño filled with a unique sweet chancaca syrup. (an unrefined sugar cane syrup) You'll also try mazamorra morada, a vibrant dessert made from purple corn, and api, a warm, comforting drink crafted from quinoa flour. Get ready for crispy chunchulí, grilled beef intestines with a smoky flavor, and the famous anticuchos, savory grilled beef skewers. To round off our tour, we'll indulge in freshly made picarones, a unique Peruvian donut served with sweet syrup. (Picarones are distinctive donuts made from sweet potato and squash.)
