Hi, I'm Hugo! I was born and raised by Lake Titicaca, and Puno has been my home for most of my life. I've been guiding here since 2010, and I still get excited every time I take someone out on the lake for the first time. It all started in a simple way: travelers would stop me on the street to ask how to get somewhere or where to find a good meal, and I loved helping them. That's still what I enjoy most, making your trip easier and sharing the place I'm proud to call home. I'd love to show you the Uros floating islands, Taquile and Amantaní, and the quiet peninsulas of Llachón and Luquina. We can also visit the Sillustani tombs, walk through Puno and Chucuito, or travel together to Cusco or La Paz with stops along the way. I guide trips to Arequipa and Chivay too. No two travelers are the same, so I like to shape each tour around you: your pace, your interests and the time you have. Your Puno tour itinerary
We'll pick you up from your hotel and will head towards Aramu Muru. On this visit we will make stops; The first stop we will make in Chucuito , a colonial town that houses the remains of a curious Inca temple called the Temple of Fertility or "Inca Uyo" in it, there are around 20 penises carved in stone , a sign of having been a ritual center dedicated to fertility Then we continue to the Inca tombs known as Chullpas de Molloco where we can see the beautiful Inca constructions that were left when some important being died and that reach more than 5m in height. Finally we will arrive to the portal Aramu Muru, located inside of some rock formations (The stone forest), we will take a short walk through the place; We will arrive at the mystical door, a place of considerable meditation for many visitors and if you need to recharge your energies from nature, this is your type of tour for you.
