"Heia" and welcome to Norway! My name is Romain and I am an authorized guide and driver offering guided tours in and around the beautiful city of Bergen. Romain was excellent! His communication was great. He picked up six adults and our luggage from the airport and stowed the suitcases for the day in his trailer. He was on time and offered us water. He gave us a six hour tour, which included a lunch stop in an excellent restaurant that he recommended. We toured a stave church, Bergen, and took the funicular up the mountain. He is polite, funny, and very knowledgeable. He delivered us to the dock for the 4:00 ferry to Balestrand. A great way to spend the day before heading to the fjords. I highly recommend Romain!!!

This tour is a wonderful introduction to the beautiful city of Bergen. It is nice to be met at the airport, for your tour starts on the way in to the center of the city. Romain is very knowledgeable about the history of Bergen and Norway. He also shares information about Bergen and Norway today. And, there add some hidden gems along the way. He was also helpful with logistics for the rest of my stay. I'd highly recommend Romain as a guide here in Bergen. Thanks again, Romain, for a great tour!

Romain met us as exited the airport, had water for us and talked about Bergen on the drive to our hotel. Very friendly and set the stage for the next two days of tours

Arriving in the city centre we will visit "Bryggen" - the historic hanseatic quarters located in the heart of Bergen still a very popular and lively area. Strolling through the charming narrow alleyways I will tell you about the history behind these wooden houses and why they played such an important role in the history of Bergen and even Norway as a whole. Afterwards we will return to the car to take a panoramic drive around the city, discovering the peninsula of "Nordnes" and other central areas giving you even more of an insight into the fascinating stories that make Bergen the city it is today. Please contact me if you wish to personalize this transfer in order to visit interesting sites slightly out of the centre of Bergen, such as the Fantoft Stave Church or « Troldhaugen », the home of famous composer Edvard Grieg - most well known today for having composed the music to Ibsens play « Peer Gynt »
