Heisan og velkommen til Bergen! My name is Thierry and I live in Bergen, Norway. Many years ago, I came to visit the city and fell in love. Few months later, that little inner voice, that was constantly questioning me about the purpose of my life, pushed me to change! I couldn't continue to ignore it and decided to move to Norway and start something new! Since then I became an authorized guide for the city of Bergen and have been doing few-hours-sightseeing excursions in the city as well as multiple-days-trips with both small private groups and up to 100-persons groups all over Norway. I take a tremendous pleasure in showing my new home town and the amazing sceneries we have in the region! I'm also keen on sharing stories with visitors on culture, history and what make Bergen a unique city. Apart working as a guide, I also work as a CrossFit L2 trainer in a gym which is my second passion. As hobby I enjoy taking photographs. Bergen is a colorful city with an autenthic Norwegian spirit and has a small-town charm and atmosphere. It is the perfect gateway to visit the two most important fjords of Norway that are accessible in a day trip from the city. Bergen is famous for the seven mountains surrounding the city centre, the Hanseatic Wharf, the fish market, the composers Edvard Grieg and Ole Bull and contemporary musicians like Kygo and the band A-HA! I can suggest tours or help you plan that exclusive, individual and personal itinerary which is exactly to your liking (or dedicated to your interests), informative, and above all, fun. I will guide you in Bergen or into our superb countryside and typical fjords. So welcome again to Bergen and let's make your time here fantastic! Authorized Bergen Guide since 2016, Authorized Oslo Guide since 2024, CrossFit Trainer Level 2 None

Enjoying nature is coded in the Norwegian DNA and the situation of Bergen make this activity very accessible as the city center is right by a chain of mountains. On this tour we will hike like real "Bergensere" (locals) on their classical Sunday walk through the woods to reach Mount Floyen. At the top (320m/1050ft) we will enjoy a wonderful view of Bergen, its fjord and the islands around. We can also stop at the cafe and have a traditional Norwegian pastry. Depending on the flow, in the remaining time, we can go to see a mountain lake. Be sure to be in a good physical condition before booking this tour. This tour can be tailored on request to match your expectations.
- From the city center, hiking up Mount Floyen (around 30-45 minutes) - Enjoying the panorama view point and the facilities there (cafe, toilets, souvenirs, . . . ) - Possibility to see a mountain lake if enough time - Going back down to the city center Note that we can also take the funicular either on the way up and hike down or hike up and take the ride down.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
