Bergen in a Nutshell Shore Excursion

Hi! My name it's Héctor I moved to Bergen from Spain 10 years ago. My original plan was to stay for 5 years in Bergen and go back to Spain, but unfortunately for me the city of Bergen has so much to offer that it's making it very hard to go back home. I'm passionate about the history and culture of Bergen and therefore I got into the world of guiding 5 years ago. It started as a side work/hobby, but now I'm committed to a full time guiding summer session showing those who come to visit Bergen, this awesome city from a special perspective that is my own experience. From fjords to mountains, walking among 1000+ years of history, walking between streets with more than 3 centuries old, wandering between the resilient neighborhoods that survived the numerous fires that devastated the city that once was the most prolific city of wooden houses in Europe during its years of development, and of course understanding how the Hanseatic League formed the most lucrative office of dried fish trade of the Middle Ages. With this said, it will be an honor for me to guide you on your visit to Bergen and show you the wonders of a city that makes you fall in love even if the rain does not stop. I will show you the past and present of Bergen and Norway in general through its own history and my own experiences . I will also make tour recommendations or assist you in creating that special, unique schedule that is tailored to your preferences in accordance to your interest in a way that we can visit and enjoy the city while we have fun , I truilly believe that tour guidng is all about sharing knowledge, experiences and stories and having lots of fun along the way! After 10 years in Norway and 4 years guiding as a hobby I decided to give a more professional touch to guiding. I recently have taken a course to sharp my guiding skills improving the way of guiding and comunications relating with guiding. bby None
