Hello! My name is Filip. My hometown is Kotor, an absolute gem surrounded by mountains and hidden deep into the Bay of Kotor, one of the most beautiful fjords in the world, which is protected by UNESCO. I am a native of Kotor and Montenegro, and my family is local here for centuries, during all good and bad times we were here (I will tell you some local stories that I learned from my grandparents if and when we meet). I was raised learning local customs, local slang, culture, even how to make local food and drinks. Let me tell you a bit about my professional development. All my life I am so eager and enthusiastic to learn and improve in foreign languages and meet people from all over the world. After getting a Business English degree from the university, I was doing different jobs related to my profession, but honestly none of those jobs allowed me to show my full potential. Then, slowly I started working jobs related to tourism, like being museum guide (docent) at Roman Mosaics in Risan and later on the island of Our Lady of the Rocks in Perast. I liked those jobs, but I wanted to go even further. So, shortly after that I became a licensed tour guide for Montenegro, and since then, I completely fell in love with being a tour guide and meeting people from all over the world and showing them all of the beautiful places we have here. First of all, I really like my country, I admire all of the places every single day, and that's the main reason why I do every single tour with the same passion and enthusiasm as if it was the first one ever. I am into this business 24/7 and I am so eager to develop even further my guiding services. Being born and raised local in Kotor and Montenegro, I am very familiar with places and activities in Kotor and all over Montenegro . Being part of our tours you will have opportunity to see places from different and unusual angles and viewpoints, honest take on life of locals in general, and I will give you professional explanation of every spot that we visit from local born and raised individual prospective. During our tours, I really try to make the best of your stay in my area, and since I am very relaxed and friendly I even made a lot of friends doing these kind of tours. I am very punctual, flexible and adaptive, so I would like to point out that even though we offer very interesting private tours, we can always customize a tour for you, so if you have any inquiries do not hesitate to contact me. As well, after the tour, I would be glad to help you with anything you need, like restaurant recommendation, pharmacy or just help you with directions. It will be my pleasure to keep in touch with you and be your tour guide! - Official Tour Guide License for Montenegro, Ministry of Tourism, Montenegro - Specialization Degree (Spec. Sci) of Business English, Mediterranean University, Montenegro - Driving license None.

We take you to the heart of Durmitor National Park(the most interesting and some non touristy parts). It is UNESCO area, also known as "mountain eyes mountain" because it has 18 glacial lakes with fresh water. This is a place that brings me back to my childhood, since people there still live the traditional mountain farmer and cattle breeder lifestyle, as our ancestors used to live in the past. We will go inside the heart of the mountain and do the Durmitor Ring panoramic ride where we pass by the highest peaks, lakes, green fields with shepherds (we can stop and have a chat with them), traditional farmer houses and we make a lot of photo stops of this breathtaking fairy tale landscape. We visit the most beautiful lakes in the area and hike around some of them. Tara Canyon is the deepest canyon in Europe, and second deepest in the world. Protected by UNESCO, it is 1333m(4373ft) deep canyon surrounded by high mountains with caves, cascades and rich wildlife!
- We meet in Kotor(or Tivat) area! - A photo stop over Kotor Bay, also called "the southernmost fjord in Europe" - On the way to the north another photo stop above Salty Lake - Drive to Piva Lake, surrounded by high cliffs and with spectacular turquoise water color. A photo stop at a viewpoint above the lake! - We take a panoramic road called "Durmitor Ring" and we make a few photo stops of spectacular views and landscape that surround us! - Black Lake visit, the landmark of the area and hike around it(optional)! - Time for lunch at a restaurant where you can try traditional farmer's mountain food( kačamak vegetarian meal, veal or lamb meat prepared in sač (a traditional cooking pot that is put on top of ember, and as well covered with ember and ashes(check tour photos), or some other food from the menu! (Let me know if you want me to book a table for you!) - Visit of Tara Canyon, the deepest canyon in Europe! - Back to Kotor and end of the tour! Note! I can customize the tour to your group size!
