Penang National Park Nature Tour - Full Day Trip

Great way to learn about the wildlife, floral and fauna of Penang. We had a great hike and the weather even cooperated. Had a fantastic lunch at a very pleasant stream area with fresh Papaya, Mango and Bananas. Main course was Chinese Chicken Rice...excellent with the hot sauce! Learned about the variety of trees, plants and herbs of the jungle. Fantastic day overall!

It was a really great experience to discover Penang with Beatrice. I've spent an incredible day learning about the nature of the island. I 100% recommend it. Would have missed so much going alone. Beatrice is a nice guide with a lot of knowledge about history, Asia and all the world.

Beatrice was a superb guide. The best part of the tour through the National Park, Penang was the information &n history she gave us.Her personal description of the events of the 2004 Tsunami was compelling. The tour was not too difficult and we had a relaxed pace. Although we did not eat all the lunch Beatrice brought, we loved the local selection. My favorites were the rice with fish in banana leaves, coconut cake & fresh fruit. Beatrice's good humor and knowledge about Penang are invaluable.

Beatrice was highly communicative up until our tour date, advising of us clothes to wear etc. She was punctual and incredibly knowledgeable of the National Park. We enjoyed her company and intellect to converse with very much.

Excellent and so enjoyable. The tour was well paced, relaxed and informative beginning with the local market visit. Passionate and knowledgable about Penang and its National Park, Beatrice is a particularly good guide and great fun. Taking us out to the Turtle beach sanctuary via boat, watching sea eagles on the way, and then walking us to the National Park base back via dips in rock pools, Beatrice took time to pause so we could fully appreciate all. She cleverly paced the walk to our fitness level.
