I will pick you up from your hotel in George Town area to start your half-day tour that takes in the main attractions & picturesque sights. Visit the former house of Chinese Captain, the Pinang Peranakan Mansion & marvelled at their collections not found elsewhere. It features many recollection memories of the Chinese immigrant's inter-marriage with the locals & created a new cultural fusion. Traipse over to Khoo Kongsi, one of the grandest clan house of the Khoo family & marvel at the grand architecture, one of the best outside China. Revel in its history, feng shui & trivia. We round up the tour by visiting the Thai & Burmese Buddhist temples of Sleeping Buddha (3rd longest) & the Standing Buddha before the drop off at hotel with sweet memories of Penang.

She was very flexible in accommodating to our needs and changed a couple of the sights to fit our request. Very much appreciated!! No shortcuts nor rushing us to finish the tour. Great pace. We could ask her all kind of questions about the history but also our upcoming plans for this trip - which was super helpfull. After telling her that we are also intertested in some local food we stopped at some street food vendors & could give it a try. Hoo was a wonderful tour guide. She was very friendly, efficient, and most enthusiastic about our tour. On our half-day tour of Georgetown we went to see amazing places, particularly the Thai and Burmese Buddhist temples the Khoo Kongsi Clan houses and the Peranakan Museum. We enjoyed seeing the Clan jetties too. Hoo was so knowledgeable about the sites on the tour; she entertained us with stories about Georgetown and the variety of cultures in the city. Ask for Hoo if you seek a great tour.
