Exploring the other side of Penang Island
Overview of your Penang tour
The tour starts with a drive through the northern part of Penang island, where we can see beautiful views of the sea and hills. The "Floating" Mosque is the first place we will visit. The fishing town of Teluk Bahang is the next stop. This is where fishing boats of all sizes unload their catch. Next, a trip to a Batik workshop to see how a plain piece of white cloth can be turned into a work of art by printing it with different patterns and designs. The road keeps going through hills covered in trees that have farms with exotic tropical fruits and spices. You can get a better look at some of the spices and try some of the fruit that is in season by stopping by one of the fruit and spice stalls. Photo stop will be in between Penang's two most iconic bridges, by an island known as "Alcatraz of Malaysia. " Then, we will drop the guest at the agreeable point by both parties.
