Wonderful tour. Laurence led a very well planned day with in depth information and clarity. The highlights were Penang Hill and a place he chose for lunch. I would highly recommend using Laurence for his pleasant personality and knowledge of the area. We ran around Penang and felt that we saw most of the sites. We are a group of 6 Canadians. Lawrence met us promptly at the cruise ship terminal for an action packed day. I contacted him the night before and changed the itinerary, he was very accommodating. We started with a Trishshaw ride around Georgetown, saw the bike mural, mansion, Penang Funicular, Entopia Butterfly Farm and a batik factory. All were great sites to see. The Entopia and batik factory were a long way from the port but Lawrence had us back to the ship in plenty of time. Highly recommend Lawrence
We had a great tour with Lawrence. There were 9 of us in our group and while on a cruise we found out Langkawi was replaced with Penang with little notice and Lawrence worked out a great itinerary for us. He is well spoken, humorous and full of passion and information for Penang. What a fun and cultural day! You can't go wrong with Lawence as your guide. The highlight for many was the trishaw rides to Chew Jetty.
Lawrence was very passionate about Penang and it showed. He took us on a food-focused tour of the city and we loved trying new flavors as well as seeing the city!
Lawrence was fantastic as our guide. Extremely knowledgeable, covered absolutely everything. Very well prepared (before and during the tour) and offered us plenty of options for the day. Also great with time keeping as we had to be back on board our cruise ship by 4pm. Really made the day as smooth as possible. We were all very happy and highly recommend Lawrence to anyone visiting Penang.
Lawrence communicated with us well before the tour and gave us the reassurance that the tours arranged were confirmed and all charges expected. He is extremely knowledgeable and considerate of all members of our 10 group. This included 2 seniors ,one who couldn't walk far, my son with autism and 5 kids in total. He is always friendly and chatty and answered all questions with honesty. I would highly recommend him to be your guide!
